Dr. Randy Ennen is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in surgery of the eye and treatment of eye disease. He has been practicing ophthalmology in Fort Smith, Arkansas since 1988 and founded Ennen Eye Center in 1996.

Dr. Ennen is the most experienced active cataract and refractive surgeon in the area.  His accomplishments include being the first ophthalmologist in Forth Smith and region to offer LASIK, laser cataract surgery, and phakic IOLs. He has performed over 50,000 ocular surgeries and continues to push the boundaries by investing in advanced technology to ensure his patients get reproducible, high-quality, life-changing eyecare. 

Dr. Ennen received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy in Iowa City, Iowa in 1980. He also received his medical degree from the prestigious Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri at Columbia.

Dr. Ennen retired from eye care in December, 2023. He spends his time traveling and has experienced adventures like hiking the Incan trail to Machu Picchu, visiting the Ganges River, scaling Mt. Kilimanjaro, sailing off the coast of New Zealand, and spending time with the gorillas of Uganda and Rwanda. Dr. Ennen loves to root on Razorback sports.  But above all, Dr. Ennen enjoys spending time with his family.
